A recap of our significant achievements in this Financial Year 2024-25,

1. Our Solar Mission Project P-31, fully DPF-funded Solar SMART class for the Panchayath Union Primary School (PUPS) in KALLANAI village in MADURAI was successfully commissioned on 25 Aug 2024.

2. The DPF Trustees visited Madurai in August to get a feedback from the Beneficiaries of DPF’s commissioned projects in Vaigai Dam PHC (P-23 in 2020) and Smart Class at Kattunayakanpatti Learning Centre, Thirupparankundram (P-26 in 2021)

3. Our Trustee Ms. Nirupama Sarathy who was nominated by DPF for a one-year hybrid “Post Graduate Diploma in Development Leadership” at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, successfully completed the Course, and was awarded the Degree in the Convocation held on 12 Dec 2024

4. Our next Project P-32 in the Solar Mission a Solar SMART class in an underserved community in a PUPS in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai is being finalized with SELCO SOLAR & SELCO Foundation, for implementation.
5. We have started with significant progress on DPF’s Mission 3, on Informal Education, for integrating Sustainable Development with Spirituality. Nirupama Sarathy our Trustee was invited to “The Dialogues on Inter-faith Peace-building and Climate Action” organized by “Pipal Tree” during 12-15 Dec 2024 at the “Fireflies Inter-cultural Centre” in Bengaluru, and hosted a session which was well-appreciated.
